Know Your Flock
Hootus got a lot better at knowing the flock. After a raid he can ask everyone how it went, anonymously if they like, and he remembers their choice so it is one tap next time. The roster finally reads straight, member or raider or PUG kept separate from whether they have verified, banning a troublemaker is one click, and nobody gets dropped just for swapping their main. Now he also finds owls with accented names, clears a review flag once you have looked, warns before linking a stranger, and tells leaving Discord apart from leaving the guild.

See whether the raids are getting better
A run of your recent nights sits down the side, each with its own mood at a glance, and every question gets a row of squares showing how it has scored night after night. Sealed nights stay sealed, hatched out until enough replies land.
Confirm a guest without promoting them
That PUG who raids with you every week? You can now confirm their character on the armory, class, realm, item level and all, and Hootus remembers who they are. They stay a guest with no member access, you just know exactly who's showing up. A green 'Verified guest' badge marks them.
See who has raided with you before
Member and guest cards now show a little 'Raided 12× · PUG 4×' badge when someone has history with the guild, so an unfamiliar name isn't really unfamiliar. Handy for spotting the regulars hiding in your unverified list.
Ask the flock how the raid went
After a raid, Hootus DMs everyone who was there and asks how it felt, in his own words, a different WoW-flavoured line each time so it never reads like a form. Questions are yours to build, with tokens like the raid name and the raid leader dropped in for you. Answers stay completely anonymous unless someone signs their name, and he remembers each person's choice so nobody re-answers 'anonymous or not' every single week. Build the questions in Settings, attach a set to a raid or set a guild default, and a raid lead can even collect feedback on demand days later with one tap.
A place to read the feedback, and a thank-you
Officers read the results on a new Feedback page: scores per question, comments, and signed replies with a note if they are happy to be contacted. Anonymous stays anonymous, the raw comments never get posted anywhere. A few hours after the raid Hootus also drops a warm, pooled thank-you in a channel you pick, so the raid lead hears that the owls had a good night.
Ban a troublemaker from the dashboard
A new Ban action on the member card, plus a Bans page to see who is banned and lift it in one tap. Hootus places the Discord ban, clears their PUG records, pulls them off any upcoming raids, and keeps the entry on the record. He also tells a kick apart from someone quietly leaving.
12 Improved
The feedback page reads like a night, not a spreadsheet
Every question now gets one bar split down the middle: grumbles to the left, happy owls to the right, so you can see the mood in a glance instead of counting rows. Notes sit under the question they answer with the rating that came with them, and 'happy to be contacted' stopped repeating itself on every line. It is one tidy list at the bottom of who you can actually go and talk to.
Hootus answers when you DM him
DM the owl with nothing open between you and he used to just stare back. Now he says so, once, and points you at /help or the contact form instead of leaving you talking to a wall.
The menu speaks your language
The member menu now uses your own configured role names, so if your members are 'Night Owls' the actions say so instead of a generic 'Member'. Submenus also open on hover, and the two look-alike Friend actions read clearly.
Member cards read fuller
Long rank names like 'Night Owl Admin' no longer squeeze the character name into a stub. The rank badge tucks under the name, so spec, realm and name get the full width. And activity now says 'today' / 'yesterday' instead of '0d' / '1d ago'.
A tidier member menu
The member action menu was getting long. The rare bits (rename, mark away, reset verification, unlink entirely) now live under a single Manage submenu, and the two look-alike 'Friend' actions read clearly now, one changes their status, the other just toggles the Friend role.
Green means yours
When you look up a character, the match glows green if they're in your guild and amber if they're off in another guild, so you can tell at a glance before linking.
Why they left, right on the card
The Recently-left list now spells out whether someone left the Discord server or fell off the WoW guild roster, and shows their class and standing.
A heads-up before linking a stranger
If a character isn't in your guild roster, Hootus now flags it and asks you to confirm before linking them, so a wrong same-named character in another guild can't slip in unnoticed.
Set a main or drop a character from the member sheet
Officers can promote any of a member's alts to main and unlink a character right from the member panel. And clicking someone in the add-person search now fills the verify box for you instead of making you type the name a second time.
Tidier raid settings
Under Raiding, 'Raid automation' and 'Raid feedback' are just 'Automation' and 'Feedback' now. The section already says Raiding, no need to say it twice.
The roster finally reads straight
Every member now shows what they are to the guild, member, raider, social, friend, PUG or applicant, separately from whether they have verified a character. PUGs and applicants stop being lumped in as 'unverified', so the number you chase is the people who actually need chasing. A PUG also shows the character they signed up with instead of a blank.
Nobody gets dropped for swapping mains
If someone's main leaves the guild but they are still raiding on another character, Hootus flags it for a look instead of quietly demoting a good raider. Changing your main re-checks it properly, and a background pass re-verifies mains that have not been looked at in a while.
10 Fixed
Background jobs stop tripping over each other
Four housekeeping jobs were each asking Discord for the full member list on the hour, which got them rate limited and quietly skipped the welcome gate tidy-up. They share one lookup now.
Give feedback actually gives feedback
Tapping Give feedback in the post-raid DM told everyone their link looked off. It did not. Hootus was misreading his own button. Fixed, along with the snooze button next to it.
Real raiders stop getting review-flagged
If Blizzard's armory hiccups on a single character lookup, Hootus no longer marks that guild member for review. Being in the guild roster is proof enough; a one-off 404 is treated as the armory blip it usually is.
Evicted a phantom owl
Verifying a character against an unlinked roster card could quietly mint a ghost member with a made-up ID, which then got flagged as having 'left'. Cleaned up the ghost and shut the door so it can't happen again.
Search that admits defeat
Character search now says plainly when nothing turns up, instead of sitting on 'searching...' and looking stuck.
Social owls can rest
A social member who's still around but just doesn't log into WoW much won't be flagged as slipping anymore. And someone who left both the guild and Discord no longer clutters the attention list, they just get tidied away.
Find owls with fancy names
Searching for a character with accented letters (think Móónhórn or Mërlín) now finds them instead of coming up empty and quietly offering a same-named stranger by mistake. Works everywhere Hootus looks a character up: verifying, adding alts, and the periodic re-check.
The 'needs another look' that wouldn't go away
A flagged main now clears the moment you approve them, and there's a Dismiss button for the ones who are simply fine. No more the same owl nagging you every month with nowhere to make it stop.
Left Discord, told apart from left the guild
The 'someone slipped out' notice now says plainly they left the Discord server (not the WoW guild), shows their class and standing, drops the bare ID number, and leaves a record you can click into later.
Catches the ones who left while Hootus slept
If someone leaves or gets kicked while the bot is offline the goodbye used to go unnoticed. A periodic check now catches it and marks them left, but only after they are gone across two checks, so a bad moment never boots the wrong person.
