A rules panel that greets your PUGs

With Discord raid signup switched on, Hootus now pins a rules-and-info panel to the signup channel, sitting right above the Apply button so newcomers read the house rules before they raise a hand. Write it under Messages, then PUGs, and Hootus keeps the panel current and never lets it get buried in the scroll.

Raid pings moved next to the rest of raiding

The roles Hootus @mentions when a raid posts hopped off the roles page and onto Raid automation, sitting with the rest of your raid posting settings where you would look for them. And the old Ping roles tab, the self-assignable roles members opt into, now goes by the clearer name Notify roles.

Permissions, now just a Discord role and a checklist

Setting who can do what used to mean wrestling with ranks, tiers and levels that all said nearly the same thing. Now the Permissions page lists your Discord roles and you tick exactly what each can open and do, with one-tap presets, and nobody lost a scrap of the access they already had.

No more rank ladder to keep in order

The old Guild ranks page and its drag-to-reorder ladder have flown off, since permissions no longer run through a rank ladder. Your roster labels and rank promotions carry on exactly as before, read straight from your in-game WoW ranks.
