Plan From the Nest
The planner was useless on a phone. Now tap a player and a tidy sheet asks where they go, tap an empty slot and it offers who fits, while drag still rules on desktop. Hootus also put it on a diet so it stops working your laptop into a sweat, and buffs start tucked away until you ask.
1 New
Build your raid from your phone
The legacy planner used to need a mouse and a steady hand. Now, on a phone, tap any player to pull up a sheet that drops them into a group, switches their role, benches them, or marks them tentative or away, and tap an empty slot to pick from whoever fits it. Dragging on desktop is exactly as it was.
4 Improved
Less refetching, snappier pages
Hootus stopped re-fetching everything each time you flick back to a browser tab, and now reuses roster data between page loads. Less waiting, less strain on your machine, still fresh the moment the numbers actually change.
Icons now come straight from the nest
Class and spec icons used to be fetched from other folks servers. Now Hootus serves them himself, so the planner paints quicker and no longer leans on outside sites. A few more render gremlins got swept out while he was at it.
A planner that stops roasting your laptop
Owls flew home to a planner that had been running hot. Hootus trimmed the fat, the roster stops redrawing every card on each sync, icons load only when needed, and the page stops refetching every time you flick back to the tab, so it sits still and stays cool.
Buff hints start out of the way
The planner buff and totem hints now begin switched off, so the board stays clean until you want them. Flick them back on from the top bar any time.
