The Loot Ledger

Loot went from a shrug to a receipt: real item names, who has been fed, who has been starved, and where the gear is falling. No more "didn't you already get boots?"

1 New

  1. Every character page now shows the loot they won

Character pages now list the loot each raider has taken home, pulled from your Gargul records: the item, the raid it dropped in, the date, and whether it went main spec, off spec or a soft reserve. Alts roll up with the main, and each item links straight to Wowhead.

5 Improved

  1. Shorter raid names and a clearer loot heading

Serpentshrine Cavern was eating half a chart label, so the raid names shrank to the shorthand everyone actually says: Kara, Gruul + Mag, SSC, TK. And the loot-balance table lost its raidy "fed vs starved" name for a plainer "Loot fairness", with a nudge that sorting by per-raid shows who is overdue.

  2. Loot tab trimmed to what it can actually tell you

Dropped the soft-reserve and reserved-items tiles, since reserves live on softres.it where Hootus never sees them, and the weekly loot line that made no sense for loot that lands in bursts. The page now tells you how many of your raids actually have loot imported, so you know how complete the picture is.

  3. The loot tab actually earns its keep now

Rebuilt the loot page around what a loot council can act on. It stopped counting cancelled and test raids, added a searchable fed-versus-starved table so the regular who never wins a drop stops slipping through, and now shows real item names, where gear is flowing, and what everyone reserves most.

  4. The raiders list is a proper table now

The raiders breakdown on the raid page grew a search box, sortable columns and a guild-versus-pug filter, and it shows everyone instead of just the top 25. Handy for finding your most reliable healers or seeing who has been fed the most loot.

  5. Loot Won tucked to the side and labelled the raider way

The Loot Won list moved over to the left column where it sits neatly under the character card, and the tags now speak raider: MS, OS and SR instead of the longer "Main" and "Off-spec". Same loot, less clutter.

3 Fixed

  1. Nameless pugs no longer clutter the loot table

The loot table was padded with rows of "(unknown)" pugs who dropped into voice but were never registered as a character, all showing zero loot. They are gone now, so the table only lists raiders Hootus can put a name to.

  2. Item tooltips pop on hover again, and pages load quicker

Hovering an item or character link shows its Wowhead tooltip right away again, instead of only after a click. Character pages also load noticeably faster now.

  3. Loot shows real item names, and history stops peeking ahead

Loot imported from Gargul sometimes landed as "Item #30104" when the export skipped the name. Hootus now looks those up and fills in the proper name, for new loot and the 374 old entries, and a character's Recent Raids list stops showing raids that have not happened yet.
