Nothing Of Yours Moves
Hootus had a habit of treating a Discord you had already built as raw material. He would find a channel by name, rename it, drag it into his own category and rewrite who could see it, and setup could quietly null your WoW guild and take everyone's admin roles off on the way past. All of that is gone. He builds in his own corner, tells you what he made and what he reused, and if something goes wrong he says what and to whom.

Hootus keeps track of how setting him up actually went
He now writes down when he is added, which step of setup you reached, when you finished, and when you removed him. Nobody but the owl sees it, and it exists for one reason: three servers gave up somewhere inside the wizard and there was no way to find out where. He also checks his own database on boot now, and shouts if a migration fails instead of carrying on quietly against the old one.

Setup follows you between your phone and your desk
The wizard used to live entirely in one browser. Open the link from the Discord app on your phone, finish on a laptop, and you started again from nothing. Worse, finishing an empty wizard on a server that was already set up would quietly null your WoW guild, wipe your permissions and take every admin role off. It now saves each step to your server as you go, picks up where you left off on any device, and on a server that is already running it only changes the steps you actually filled in.
When adding Hootus goes wrong, he says so
An install that failed halfway sent you back to a page telling you to add the bot you had just added, forever, with no clue what happened. It now names what went wrong and what to try. The contact form on the help page also stopped turning away anyone who had not installed him yet, which was everybody who most needed to ask a question.

Setup stopped helping itself to channels you already had
If you already ran a Discord and it had a #general, an #announcements or an #lfg, Hootus would find them by name anywhere in the server, rename them to what he wanted, drag them into his own category and rewrite their permissions, which on a bad day meant #general vanished for everyone who is not an admin. He now builds inside his own categories and stops there. Your channels keep their names, their homes and their permissions, he only grants himself enough access to post, and when he is done he lists everything he made and everything he reused under the name it actually has.
The welcome channel stopped disappearing for everybody
Hootus would hide the welcome channel from everyone and hand it to the Unverified role, and he would do it even when he had just decided not to give anybody that role. The result was a channel nobody could see, with the verify button on it, and no way to undo it. He now refuses to hide it unless somebody can actually see it afterwards, tells your officers when he does, and puts it back if you clear the Unverified role.
Promoting somebody stopped demoting them
Handing an officer role out with /manage member promote also took away Member, Raider, Guest, PUG and Applicant, and offered those same roles in the picker as though they were ranks. It now only touches the leadership roles it is meant to. While he was in there: /manage pug-cleanup was quietly running across every server Hootus is in rather than just yours, and losing a character off the WoW roster no longer strips an officer of their officer role.
Raids post where you meant them to, on a server you already ran
Setup only registered your raid channel and posted the welcome panel on a brand new server, which is the rare one. On a Discord you already ran, /raid create fell back to whatever channel you happened to type in and the planner's channel picker had nothing in it. Both now work whichever kind of server you brought him to, and he will not post the same panel twice if you run setup again.
